Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is involved in all aspects of image campaigns including concept, graphic design,social assets, style guidelines and logos used to represent the Company and its products and services as well as special projects and programming community-wide. The ideal candidate can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts & designs. The Graphic Designer should have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work to support our properties.

  • Design artwork for projects which include logos, brochures, advertisements, reports, posters, invitations, social & digital assets, websites, info-graphics, marketing materials, etc.

  • Produce video images and web pages

  • Create concepts and initial ideas for advertising campaigns and marketing strategies

  • Serve as a department liaison to ensure consistency of image and message. Provide in-house expertise on design, logo, digital, vendor relations, printers and other publications

  • Consult with properties and sales teams to assess their need and create cohesive designs to reflect properties goals and culture

  • Understand the properties’ business needs

  • Develop design briefs by gathering information and data to clarify design issues; consider constraints of cost, time and property

  • Use a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design

  • Produce accurate and high-quality work

  • Keep updated on design programs

  • Maintain workload and prioritize

  • Organize files and keep all job files up to date

  • All other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills

· Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art Design, Marketing or related discipline

· Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

· Conceptual and technical knowledge of all Design principles (typography, color, layout, motion, etc)

· Minimum of three years in professional design, in-house or creative agency

· Platforms Mac OS (required), Windows (a plus)


  • Innate ability to think creatively to produce new ideas

  • Strong multitasking skills, able to work simultaneously on multiply projects and prioritize using good judgement

  • Developed knowledge of:

  • Desktop publishing and computer-aided design hardware and software and Microsoft Office products

  • The principles, practices and procedures used in public affairs and communications

  • Excellent ability to work well in a team of staff that may include: printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, account executives, website designers and marketing specialists

· Adaptive design eye and skill

· Excellent communication skills

· Positive attitude

Ability to:

  • Outline priorities and develop methods and procedures to complete projects

  • Listen and communicate effectively with a diverse group of people

  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proficiently perform computerized word processing, comprehension, summarizing, and writing/editing

  • Attend or conduct various meetings as needed

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other Company staff at all levels and the general public

  • Meet deadlines, and have the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

  • Maintain great attention to detail, while having open mind for creativity

  • Work independently in a creative environment, while still being able to take creative direction
