New Forum is the on-site Property Manager for The Town of Ayrsley - New Forum’s most ambitious project to date. Arguably the most sustainable community in Mecklenburg County outside of downtown Charlotte, Ayrsley currently houses over 2,000,000 square feet of office and retail space, 1,200 residential units, a 14-screen movie theater (voted best in Charlotte by AOL), 12 restaurants, 242 hotel rooms and a variety of outdoor leisure and activity spaces. When completed, Ayrsley will be roughly double its current size and will be a community of more than 15,000 residents, workers and daily visitors.
Success in operations is also evident in New Forum’s management of the Village at Carolina Place, which is listed as the largest retirement community in Mecklenburg County by the Charlotte Business Journal. Breaking ground in 1998, the Village is home to The Cottages single family detached homes, The Dorchester (dorchestercharlotte.com) apartment homes, and The Manor luxury apartments (manorcharlotte.com). With 455 units in place and additional growth planned, the Village offers its residents a wide variety of amenities and activities that foster community and interaction. This has made the Village at Carolina Place one of the most successful independent living communities in North Carolina. New Forum has also developed and manages The Carillon, a 150 unit retirement community in Greensboro, North Carolina (thecarillongreensboro.com).
